Send your project into
the upper stratosphere
for testing

Pulsar Helium Inc.(Pulsar) has partnered with Filmed In Space to enhance its Pulsar Scholars initiative.

The partnership will utilize Pulsar’s quarterly US$2,500 bursary to fund STEM students’ experiments using Filmed In Spaces’ space balloons, which reach altitudes of approximately 130,000 feet.

Filmed In Space is transitioning from hydrogen to helium-filled biodegradable latex balloons for suborbital flights, providing an environment similar to Mars’s surface conditions. The program offers students fully-funded & discounted rates for testing cube satellites and other scientific experiments in extreme conditions.

Scholars bursaries

The bursary funds of US$2,500 provided quarterly by the Pulsar Scholars initiative to STEM students will be used to pay Filmed In Space to test student projects and experiments in suborbital conditions.

This partnership will provide students with reliable, proven, and sustainable test flights at heavily discounted rates for educational missions. By covering the full cost of the flight, the bursary ensures students have access to the resources and support they need to advance and test their projects effectively.

The project will also be filmed during the entirety of the flight using one of Filmed In Space 4k cameras, and Filmed In Space will also provide the students with full flight data exported as CSV which can be used for analysis against their own data collection.
